A new upgrade behind the counter — same handmade bread, a better way to take care of you.

For 20+ years, every call to Honu came through the same old landline. No real way to keep track of who we talked to, what you ordered, or when to follow up. For a bakery built on looking after our ohana, that never quite sat right with us.
So we've been quietly fixing it — in two phases.
Phase 1 (last year): We upgraded to a new point-of-sale system, so our regulars' info finally lives in one organized place. It's also how Honu Points was born — our way of giving a little something back to the ohana who keep walking through our doors. 🤙
Phase 2 (this week): We retired the landline for a modern phone system. What that means for you:
Easier for our Kupuna to call in and order their favorite cakes — we know online ordering isn't for everyone, and that's okay.
Faster updates on holiday hours, special events, and what's fresh out of the oven.
No more dropped follow-ups — when you ask us for something, it gets handled.
We rolled it out at our Kam location a month ago, and as of this week it's live at South King too.
Here's the thing: the bread will always be the heart of Honu. But taking good care of the 24,000+ regulars who make this place what it is? That takes good systems too. We're growing — carefully, the local way — so we can keep showing up for you.
Mahalo for being part of the Honu Ohana.
